Shayne was born in Logan Utah, spending time growing up in Utah, and Idaho. He attended the University of Utah obtaining an undergraduate degree in Health Education. He then obtained a degree from Touro University, Brooklyn, NewYork, in Physician Assistant Studies.
Working as a Physician Assistant for 2 years in the Dakotas, He returned to Utah with his family to take a job at TOSH in 1997. He has 25+ years of experience as a PA. For the past 15 years, he has worked in Hand Surgery, currently with Dr.Sid Baucom. Previously with Dr.Dan Hammon.
He enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing, snowmobiling, family, and his grandson.
